The right placement of garbage cans is crucial for Public Works operations. The correct way allows for proper leaf vacuuming. Our leaf vacuum is unable to maneuver between cans, so when they are placed in the street, no leaves will be picked up. The correct placement also allows for storm water to flow properly and helps speed up snow removal and sweeping services. Please place your cans correctly and share with your neighbors if theirs is placed in the street. Our Public Works Department thanks you for your cooperation!
